Winter Mini Party

We celebrated the season of winter with our first annual winter-themed mini party.  Starting this year, I am planning on a new tradition of hosting a mini party for the kids here at home with each turn of the season and holiday by incorporating related activities, crafts, worksheets, and snacks. 

 Starting off the festivities with an indoor scavenger hunt - searching for clues that led to a sweet treat at the end with rhyming hints

 Snowman dot-to-dot and word/picture matching worksheets

 Snowflake bead craft

Build a Snowman game - roll the dice which corresponds to a number/snowman part; the one to finish building their snowman first wins

Aliyah's favorite part - enjoying the tasty treats with blue juice, blueberry breakfast bars, and cookies dunked in "snow" - white frosting and then topped off with sprinkles
